A few trailers have been released advertising the 6th season of FX's hit TV show 'American Horror Story', but fans are still left guessing as to what exactly the theme is.
In the series of previews there is an eerie house with a funnel on top (seeming to spell the letter '6') as you hear a chainsaw start up & a woman screaming. In other spots, you see a woman running down the stairs being pulled by many hands underneath the stairwell (which reminds me of the basement of 'Murder House' from season 1), in another glimplse there is a baby crying in a crib with strange metal objects & knives hanging above the crib, when a deadly hand reaches up & grabs one, & in the last released preview there is a man getting stitches that seems to spell out "6 ?" as a male voice says "Try to keep it dry". -Also seems that the theme song has not changed (Yay!).
People are quickly guessing the season has something to do with the 'Roanoke colony'...similar to what season 1 would flash back to. We would have no idea about this if it wasn't for people taking pictures on set. A photo also reveals that the word "croatoan" is carved into a tree near the house on set. According to the show's creator Ryan Murphy, all seasons are connected, so the ideas people are guessing seem to make sense.
We will find out September 14th when American Horror Story Season 6 premieres on FX.
